STAR Child Restraints and EZ On Harnesses
The standard SafeGuard STAR® is a five-point, add-on restraint system that easily adjusts to provide a proper, secure fit for children 25 to 65 pounds, up to 57 inches tall. STAR is the only add-on restraint that can be installed three to a standard 39-inch bus seat to maintain bus capacity.
This restraint makes the safe transportation of pre-school, Head Start and special needs children quick and easy, safely securing and adapting to children of a wide range of sizes and needs.
The SafeGuard SuperSTAR, is the only restraint engineered with the added safety of car-seat technology while providing you with more versatility. The SuperSTAR’s central adjust allows for one-pull tightening of the restraint system. Not only is the central adjuster faster, it also helps you insure you are properly restraining the children in your care.
The SuperSTAR is designed and CAPE tested for 25-90lb pre-school children.
The SuperSTAR features:
• New, easier to clean covering.
• Longer cam wrap attaches around any school bus seat.
• Seven-year service life. (1 year longer than the STAR & STAR Plus)
• Flatter base contours provides more comfort.
• Fit (3) SuperSTARs on a standard 39’ FMVSS school bus seat. (STAR Plus could only fit 2 to a seat)
• Optional chest strap available.
